I really love what I do, and it may sound cheesy, but I do genuinely take great pride in seeing how a great insurance product can help our clients in their hour of need, no matter whether it is life cover, medical cover, motor cover, liability cover – anything…
So, when it comes to arranging insurance policies for JW Seagon on behalf of our growing client base, I always go to great lengths to ensure the very best cover; in terms of benefit levels, reliability and price.
Experience has taught me one thing, there are no shortcuts with insurance. That’s why we only partner with household, reputable providers. This way I can sleep easy at night, knowing that if my clients come to claim, they won’t be faced with any unexpected surprises or shortfalls.
As the MD of one of East Africa’s fastest growing, and leading Independent Insurance Brokers, you might be thinking that it’s easy for me to say all this, but trust me, I can put my money where my mouth is.
I am in the throes of receiving some medical treatment which was covered in full by my health insurance plan. This is what I would have expected as the plan is underwritten by the ever-reliable Hollard Cigna Health.
I was pleasantly surprised, however, when my very helpful Insurance Broker (Jeremy at J W Seagon Insurance Brokers) contacted the insurers (Prudential Kenya) of my Group Life policy to see if my medical treatment also entitled me to a critical illness pay-out – one of the added-value features on their Life policy.
The answer was a resounding ‘yes’ and my claim was submitted that morning. A few hours later, I got an alert on my phone showing that my claim had been paid in full, and without any fuss, directly into my account. A clear, tangible endorsement that in the insurance market, quality pays!
Which brings me nicely back to my original point. Yes, there are always low-cost insurance options available and yes, customers should always look to balance cover with premiums they can afford. But one thing is clear, reputable insurers behave in the right way and stay with you through thick and thin.
I for one, can personally vouch for that!
